Information on product size: The size indicated refers to the crib series or a standing figure in the crib series. Animals, bent persons and children are often correspondingly smaller than the specified size
The sheep eating on the right side of the Artis crib shows a sheep eating on the right side. During the holy night, the shepherds with their sheep and lambs live in the stable in Bethlehem. The animals symbolize the believers who are familiar with Jesus, as he is often depicted as a shepherd in the Bible. The sheep in the Artis crib was designed with care and attention to detail in the South Tyrolean tradition. The crib figure was carved from high-quality sycamore wood and painted to the highest quality.
Note on manufacturing
The wood carvings are made using traditional South Tyrolean craftsmanship and are hand-painted. As a result, the painting and grain may differ slightly from the product photo.
